American Apocalypse: The forgotten knife?

The forgotten knife?

One thing I rarely if ever hear anyone mention in their bug out bag,is a good fillet knife.Most are pretty light. I think under stealth conditions fishing may be one of better options for a quiet way to get food, and I dont like bones. You may be able to fillet with your hunter or fighter. Nicer job with the right tool though! my pack has two trot lines and fillet knife. Big boy gotta eat ya know!

Knives I carry in the woods.
Kukri and 18 in Khyber bowie.
1 medium skinner.
1 schrade multitool.
1 pocket knife.
in addition I carry 2 hawks and one axe.
one sharpener for all the above.

Thank you Elder Dragon! It seems many of us do realize the value of right tool for job. I was afraid new preppers may cocentrate on guns, but ya gotta be able to clean it after ya shoot it,firewood to cook it!
