I still think its the long slow slide theory. But on any given day it could turn in to a mud slide.

Keeping the long view, the heartbeat down where it belongs, the blood-pressure, smoothing out the whispers of urgency rolling it down flat enough to survive it not happening right now is a piece of the challenge. Maybe the most pesky piece.
ReplyDeleteI'm not certain there's any way to pull that off without expecting it too many 'NOW!" mornings and seeing the sunset without anything changing much since sunrise.
I recall December 31, 1999, huddled with a group of Y2K people listening to the shortwave radio for the first news of New Zealand, Japan, Australia. By the time South Africa and Europe got here it seemed fairly certain it was a flash in the pan. But one of my best friends kept saying, "Maybe it will take a few more days."
Gradually the few more days confirmed what had already happened.
Didn't mean Y2K will never happen. I just mightn't live long enough to see it.
Okay by me.
HA Ha Jules be fine by me too!
