Hoosier Patcom meet up?

How many Hoosier Patriots would be up for a meet up here? Early planning stages,we need a couple acres to camp on, any body hello? If not I guess we could do something like Allens creek at Monroe or something? Private area would be better but we will make do,we are Survivalist/Preppers! Grumpyunk and I need long lead times.So we have some time. Either respond on the blogs or if you are flying under the radar all my blogs have my email. I think it would be very cool to meet a lot of you in person!

Treasure !

Got me to thinking.I am a treasure hunter of sorts. I have an (old now) whites 6000di pro metal detector that I use to go off on escapades. The two coolest Items I have found are a couple of old dimes. One an 1899 barber about 2-3 inches deep in soft loamy soil under a huge oak,that I found a lot of old paper case 12ga shells under.Squirrel hunting no doubt. The other an 1861 seated liberty. Now I am getting ahead of myself. Most of ya know I am a maintenance supr who goes on call a lot.Well it feels like being trapped,cause ya never know when a call might come in. So you never get to far from home.So I always keep my eyes peeled for places close to home to hit with my detector.

Well my apt faces an interstate.You know how often there is an area of scrub trees an brush between the interstate an a right of way before homes or apts? Well my little wooded area was at one time part of a rail spur.There is a concrete slab that at one time was part of a building maybe 12 x 30? That huge oak plus a couple of almost as huge then the usual 3rd or 4th growth plus bushes weeds etc.The area has 3 fenced lots I found an old pitcher pump. So it was a farm or cattle holding are for railway?

Anyway I hunted this area many times only found trash an several old copper penny's so corroded to be unreadable. But I knew Something had to be there.
 
On probably my 50th trip I found the Barber dime.Only 2-3 inches deep.Wow I thought Finally! So three trips later it was hot and I was tired I was giving up and heading home but swinging my detector on the way out,I got a strong dime hit.The meter said 1inch ? Great probably a penny. I took my foot an scrubbed all the leaves an branches out of the way an low an behold something glistened in the sun,real silver, I bent down an picked it up.Yep an 1861 Liberty seated dime.


I couldn't of been happier if I found the Lost Dutchman mine!!
Now they are both common dates worth a couple bucks each! So I haven't sold them when I have sold off my other junk coins because I wonder to this day how an 1861 was still laying on top of the ground?

Resolutions for the coming year!

I don't usually make resolutions. However this year I will make a few. I resolve to help as many people as possible see what is going on in the U.S. govt.

I resolve to spend a little more time with my family.

I resolve to fight tyranny on all levels.

I resolve to get myself in a little better shape,One son is bringing weight bench and weights back,the other son dropped me off a nice used mountain bike.For which I just tonight picked up an ol man seat padded springer. And rack in case of last ditch bug out vehicle.

I resolve to put myself further on Domestic terrorist list by raising hell with my Congressman and Senator for these Traitorous bills being passed.

I resolve to get my last few remaining debts paid off So that I may finally get the hell out of here.

I resolve at some point and time to meet up at one of these rallys to meet cyber comrades Some how Some way.

I resolve to Not let my Grandkids grow up in a Socialist Police State Amerika.
I resolve to learn how to repair these damn computers.I hate being at the mercy of any one.

I resolve to learn all I can on knife making this is a life long resolution not a yearly one.

I resolve to cut the price of my smoking habit... yes I know I should stop but not ready,so I will make it a cheaper habit.

I resolve to get in more shooting practice. Untill I can tap a blue helmet from a long way off. I am quite deadly at close range with Ruger already 9mm or not.

As much as we would like to think we can fight off a squad of swat or storm troopers its most likely suicide!

If like me you are more or less on your own again improvise and put distance between yo and the enemy.Study viet cong improvised weapons,pick Army an Marine field manuals.

Forget the bullshit any gun is better than none if you have none pick up cheap ruger,marlin,savage,springfield etc .22 a couple bricks of ammo 1 high velocity (stingers) etc 1 subsonic

If you can afford a long range rifle do it,and get to practicing.Stuck in the city .12 ga pump or auto with mixture of slugs and #4 thru oo or ooo aught will do well. Get something. Gas,propane,diesel or fuel oil can all come in handy.Again I am no badass but I am not going to gitmo for free speech.

Go read older artices of my American minuteman 3%4 freedom an R3v an others gave good advice Other blogs and manuals can help.Get in shape best you can.Most of us will be surpised at how pathetic we are at running,carrying a heavy pack etc. The time draws near.Evil is attempting to spread its wings over us.
