We are getting some of that same storm system down here. I'm happy to report that we are all prepped and ready. Even so, I really hope we don't loose power.
ReplyDeleteSciFi,I feel ya! If power goes out depending on temps we would probably have so many broken pipes, nightmare I don't want to even think about. We have signs out to remind people to let faucets trickle.Good luck I hope you all make it just fine!

Hope you made it through the storm! We're just off of I70, about 3 hours east of Indy and we weathered the storm well enough. My in-laws who live 20 minutes south of us lost power for 24 hours, which is sort of scary considering the m-i-l is on an oxygen machine.
ReplyDeleteAndrea,we did ok no power outages luckily. Still clearing ice. I have been a maintenance supr for over 20 years and I only remember 1 time that was close to this!We have to break the ice with a jack handle (spud bar) then scrape it. All in all we were pretty lucky.Glad you guys made it through ok!
